Who we serve

People with a thin or damaged credit file — and the least room in the budget to absorb what it costs them.

Priority communities

The people carrying these burdens are the least likely to know their rights.

Errors, unresolved medical bills, aged collections, identity mix-ups, and thin files translate directly into denied housing, higher loan and insurance costs, lost job offers, and utility deposits. They are also the households least likely to have the time, language access, or confidence to exercise their rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Low- and moderate-income adults

Households where a single credit error can raise the cost of a car loan, an apartment, or an insurance premium.

Returning citizens

People rebuilding a financial identity after incarceration, often with years-old or inaccurate records.

Immigrants and refugees

Adults establishing a U.S. credit history from scratch, frequently in a second language.

Young adults and students

First-time borrowers learning how credit works before a thin file becomes a damaged one.

People with medical or collections debt

Households navigating disputed medical bills, aged collections, and time-barred debt.

Survivors of identity theft and financial abuse

People untangling accounts and inquiries that were never theirs.
