Four pillars of a support program
Program 1

The Fair Credit & Debt Program

The Fair Credit & Debt Program teaches people how credit and debt work, how to read their own credit reports, how to spot and dispute errors under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and how to prepare their own dispute letters — at no cost. It is delivered through free workshops, a guided self-help tool, document-prep clinics, and a multilingual online library.

Community workshops

Reading a credit report and score; the FCRA and the right to dispute; budgeting and debt payoff; medical and student debt; collections and time limits; predatory lending; building credit safely. Workshops & clinics →

Guided self-help tool

Read your own reports, flag likely errors, and prepare your own dispute, validation, and goodwill letters. You remain the author and sender of every letter. Open the toolkit →

Document-prep clinics

Drop-in help from trained educators to pull reports, use the tool, and organize follow-up. Free and multilingual.

Digital library & partner training

Guard the Nest Egg

A financial-protection program for older adults and their families: how to recognize and stop financial exploitation, romance and grandparent scams, fraudulent investment pitches, and undue influence; how to set up trusted-contact and account safeguards; and where to report suspected elder financial abuse. Delivered as free workshops and a plain-language toolkit, in partnership with aging-services organizations, libraries, and adult protective services.

This program is in development. Curriculum is being written and reviewed; the first workshops will be scheduled with partner sites. To help shape it or host a session, write to admin@sapientiafoundation.net.
Expected impact

Knowledge that compounds, records that get corrected.

Participants show measurable gains in credit and debt knowledge, dispute and remove inaccurate items from their own records, see improved credit standing over time, and avoid the fees of commercial credit repair. A permanent, openly licensed bank of curriculum, videos, and tools stays available to the community and to partner organizations.
